QUAD CITIES -- Starting today traffic patterns will change on the I-74 bridge.
Crews will be working on the Iowa-bound side of the road at River Drive in Moline, according to the Illinois and Iowa Departments of Transportation.
Then, on Thursday the Illinois bound on-ramp of I-74 at Middle Road will be close from 10pm to 5am Friday for contractors to install overhead signs.
Crews have been working over the past few days on the arches. There are now eleven arch segments installed on the Illinois-bound bridge, the Iowa side is just getting started.
