(Davenport, IA) -- Aside from a few storms that rolled through Marshalltown and Waterloo this morning, it looks like the bulk of Eastern Iowa will miss the first storm threat of the day, but we're still under a threat of severe weather this afternoon.

Meteorologist Justin Schultz with the National Weather Service says this afternoon's storms could bring large hail, damaging winds, and potential tornado activity.
