Mary Shepard was beaten to a pulp in 2009 while working at her church in Southern Illinois. Mary became a concealed carry activist, and won her fight against the Illinois concealed carry ban.
Mary this week slogged through ice and snow to her mailbox, and found there her Illinois permit to have a concealed weapon issued by the Illinois State Police.
If you would like to see why she fought so hard, Google Mary Shepard of Anna, Illinois and look at the pictures which show how badly she was beaten.
Personally, I would have given her a Rocket Propelled Grenade license too, just to make sure she would never look like that again.
